2011 Subaru Impreza WRX

2011_Subaru_WRX_20100326

The 2011 WRX is back with an aggressive look that makes the 2010 model look like a Toyota Corolla. The widened stance, fender flares and new front end have given this car the looks it deserves. Specs have also been bumped up to put out 265 all wheel horsepower. In addition wider tires have been installed to give the car better grip in tight cornering situations. We were considering getting the Audi A3 as our next ride, but this Subie is making us think twice.

2011 Tesla Motors Model S

Tesla_Model_S_20100315

Tesla is known for their all electric Lotus based roadster, but not fully known for their sedan efforts. The 2011 Tesla Model S is coming and is truly going to be a game changer when people think of hybrids. The design, which can be seen here, shows how the power train including batteries are built along the bottom similar to a skateboard. This means that you have two trunks. One in the front and one on the back. The car can reach 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and has a range of 300 miles. As for the interior there is a sexy 17″ touch screen interface, the ability to seat seven, and LCD instrumentation. On the outside there are a host of functional vents and diffusers and to improve aerodynamics, the door handles actually suck back into the body when not in use. One of the best parts of the Model S is that it’s priced right under $50K and for U.S. citizens you can get a $7,500 tax break for purchasing one. Pre-orders are available.

2010_Porsche_Panamera

The Panamera Turbo($132K) by Porsche is the first true four door sports car built by Porsche. With the ability to reach 60 in 4 seconds flat, we’re sure that’s proof enough. Under the hood (yes it has a front engine) lies a 500 bhp beast capable of reaching a top speed of 188 mph. Porsche didn’t just stop at performance, they also engineered a luxurious interior complete with four individual power seats, a Burmester 16 speaker stereo, quad climate control, and a surprising amount of head and legroom. This ride is guaranteed to turn heads.

Known as the 200EX during the concept phase, Rolls Royce has debuted the Ghost at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show. The 2011 Rolls Royce might be smaller than the Phantom, but the vehicle has incorporated a lot of the new, modern design features and is packed with the latest gadgets such as night vision, adaptive cruise control and multiple cameras. The car has a sleeker profile than its big brother and is almost two feet shorter. The Ghost is powered by an all-new 6.6 liter turbocharged V12, which will produce 563bhp and 575lb/ft of torque and mates to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Starting at $250k, that might be a little out of the price range for us regular folks, but if you’ve got the dough, you can’t go wrong with a Rolls Royce.

The 2010 BMW 7-Series($81K to start) is all new and looking extremely aggressive. Under the hood is a standard 4.4L turbo charged V8 pumping out 400HP. This model features a slick new gauge cluster that utilizes “Black Panel LCD Technology”. Basically when the ignition is off the cluster only shows the raised rings and needles, but once the car is started, the instrument panel comes to life with intensified colors displaying onboard information. Other standards are keyless start/stop, 20-way adjustable seats, and our favorite in any beemer: iDrive.
