Drinking and driving is obviously a bad idea, but drinking and biking on the other hand is actually pretty fun. Forgetting the beer opener always presents a problem so the The Road Popper solves this: it’s a bike mounted bottle opener, discretely tucked away under your seat to preserve your bike’s aesthetic. Simple as that.

If any of you are from the LA area, then you’ve probably been wondering when the heck they would create another way to get to Vegas besides flying or driving. Let’s face if, your driving, traffic sucks and the only way to get around that is to leave at times nobody wants to leave. Well the “X” Train (launching late 2011) proposed route plans to link Las Vegas with the Los Angeles area by train. This isn’t your regular train though, the X” Train plans to provide entertainment consisting of a sports bar, food and beverage service and also plans on offering rooms and shows for its passengers. The train is said to take about 5.5 hours but if you’re having fun the whole time, who cares right?

The 2011 WRX is back with an aggressive look that makes the 2010 model look like a Toyota Corolla. The widened stance, fender flares and new front end have given this car the looks it deserves. Specs have also been bumped up to put out 265 all wheel horsepower. In addition wider tires have been installed to give the car better grip in tight cornering situations. We were considering getting the Audi A3 as our next ride, but this Subie is making us think twice.

Tesla is known for their all electric Lotus based roadster, but not fully known for their sedan efforts. The 2011 Tesla Model S is coming and is truly going to be a game changer when people think of hybrids. The design, which can be seen here, shows how the power train including batteries are built along the bottom similar to a skateboard. This means that you have two trunks. One in the front and one on the back. The car can reach 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and has a range of 300 miles. As for the interior there is a sexy 17″ touch screen interface, the ability to seat seven, and LCD instrumentation. On the outside there are a host of functional vents and diffusers and to improve aerodynamics, the door handles actually suck back into the body when not in use. One of the best parts of the Model S is that it’s priced right under $50K and for U.S. citizens you can get a $7,500 tax break for purchasing one. Pre-orders are available.

Complete fixed gears are sort of hard to come by unless you go through craigslist or spend a pretty good amount of time researching and building your own. Like Eighth Inch, Globe (part of Specialized) has complete fixies ready for purchase and you don’t have to spend a ridiculous amount of cash. The Roll, an upgraded Roll 1, comes with a Reynolds 520 Cr-Mo frame, Sugino RD2 crankset, track style pedals with toe clips, 700c super deep V wheels, BMX style seat, and a flip-flop hub ready to be switched between fixed gear or single speed. The problem with these bikes is that you can’t purchase them online, so you need to check in with your local bike shop for availability. The good thing though is that the retail is $820 but we’ve seen them for under $750.

If you were to ask us if we could have one super power, we’d most likely say to be able to fly. We aren’t talking about on a plane or in your dreams because that doesn’t count. The Martin Jet Pack is the closest thing to make this a reality. Self-proclaimed the be the world’s first practical Jet Pack, the Martin Jet Pack is powered by a specially designed 2.0L v4 gasoline engine which produces 200hp and capable of traveling as far as 31.5 miles or up to 8,000 feet. This innovative and advanced personal aircraft falls under the FAA’s Ultralight classification so a pilots license is not required, sweet right? Although you do have to pass their own training program before hand. And just in case anything may happen to you mid air, the Jet Pack features a built-in ballistic parachute so that’s just one less thing to worry about. Forget the Lambos and Ferraris, If you have the loot, imagine arriving at a club in one of these, ha ha.

Streetbikes have always found a way to tug at our heart strings. Though the RS 50 ($3K) by Aprilia is mini, we’re still in love. The RS 50 is built around a 50cc 8.4hp engine that only weighs 33 pounds, and can do 70mph. The design draws inspiration from Aprilia’s flagship RSV 1000R and makes no apologies. For a mini bike you’d expect to see some skimping when it comes to features, but not with an Aprilia. The RS 50 includes an aluminum frame, aluminum swingarm, 6-speed gearbox, light weight wheels with ‘Y’ spokes, front and rear disk brakes, electric start, and analog/digital instrumentation. The only downside is that they are difficult to find in the US. Check out Aprilia’s site for dealer information, and maybe you can find one in your area. Hit the jump for a full body photo.

Becoming an astronaut is the dream that many of us shared while we were growing up and we gradually realized how incredibly difficult it actually is to become one. Virgin, the company that has branded pretty much everything imaginable, now ventured into the space tourism business. Virgin Galactic($200K) gives customers a chance to experience an awe inspiring view, zero gravity, and over MACH 3. In addition to the trip, customers also go through 2-3 luxurious (we’re sure) days of preparing with their crew for the big day. When the big day arrives customers are then rocketed to the outer reaches of our atmosphere where they can enjoy the sites and absolute silence. This truly does sound like an amazing experience and apparently over 300 have signed up. If you have $200K to blow then it might as well be on space travel instead of that Ferrari.

Essentially, The Derringer Cycle is a cruiser that’s gas powered by a 4-stroke 49cc engine which is capable of exceeding 150 miles per gallon. Or, if you just want to go on a normal bike ride, you have yourself pedals as well, you choose. You’ll notice people rubber necking with this moto-hybrid scooter for sure.

The Cycloc Bicycle Storage is an easy solution to conveniently get your bike out of the way and to free up some space. Designed to pretty much hold almost any kind of bike, the Cycloc only needs three screws to mount and instantly get your bike off the floor. It also has a hole to run a lock through, and a bucket-like design to hold your gear as well. The whack thing about this though, it’s basically $130 dollars for a “plastic bucket”. It’s insane but definitely a clever idea that is simply too expensive.
